i know this is the stupidest question ever but does a financial adviser help you invest in order to create more money? and is it worth getting a financial adviser (just curiosity not planing on getting one since im not rich lol)

a financial adviser makes money by getting a cut on your investment returns. The more he invests the more he gets as it is in percentage. The better he invest the more he gets. So he tries to get as much money he can and place it as good as he can as both will profit him. The base salary will be low so that he is motivated to get his bonus out of the investment strategy. In short, worth going for normally.

I'm not even sure if financial advisors will talk to you unless you have 20 or 30 grand.
Just put money into your 401K at work for now.
