I currently own a Boss Super Shifter PS-5. I only use the tremolo arm mode. I don't use the harmonizer or pitch shifter modes. Is there another pedal (preferably BOSS, but if not its fine) that will allow me to do the same "divebomb" effect and choose the desired end pitch, like my current pedal? I really like the tremolo arm on mine, but all the other knobs and effects are unneeded and just kind of in the way...
Thanks!

I'm afraid that you already have the least complicated BOSS version of that effect. You can also find that effect in the BOSS ME-25 and ME-70 and of course the BOSS GT-10. When it comes to BOSS effects pedals, in my opinion, you are always better off purchasing a multieffects processor rather than individual pedals. Why? Because most guitar players use Delay, Distortion, Reverb, Flanger, Compression/Sustain, Pitch Shifter/Harmonizer and Chorus effects. That is 7-effects at an average price of around $100 (if you buy them separately) but, in the BOSS GT-10, you get almost every effect that BOSS makes for only $500. You also get all of the effects mentioned above and many more with the BOSS ME-25 for only $200. So, it simply does not pay to purchase any of your effects separately.
If you are playing anywhere from Blues to Heavy Metal get the Crybaby Wah for those Metallica and Black Label solos! I checked out the Peavey Windsor Guitar World demo online and it's got a good overdrive distortion. I doubt you'll need a distortion pedal unless you just plain don't like the distortion on the amp. I think it's killer. Stay away from those crap Metal Zone pedals. They sound like crap in a live setting. I use a Boss Super Chorus for a little extra flavor in my tone and a Boss DD-6 Delay for some soloing. I also plug in a Boss EQ pedal and boost the mids and level for extra sustain for soloing. These are all meat and potatos pedals for enhancing tone. If you want to get wild and come up with some crazy sounds the Digitech Whammy is tons of fun.
