This boy whom I have liked for about 5 months found out not so long ago. We get on quite well and I feel as though I can tell him pretty much anything, so I have made clear to him exactly how much I like him and that. Anyway, a week ago we were chatting on msn from about 11pm to 6:30am. At about 3 my mate said he must like me since he has about 10 contacts and its obvious it was up talking to me so I asked him and he said I like you more than a friend, just not sure how much, also earlier that day people were making comments and calling him my bf, so I asked him if he would ever go out with me and he told not just yet, maybe in a little while, when I’m not really shy. Today he was on for the first time since he told me he 'liked me more than a mate'. I asked him if he was being serious and he said about what? And then I said about liking me? So he replied saying I think of you as a close mate, yes. I don't know what to do and I'm really confused. Also, he's never had a girlfriend before and I don't think anyones ever liked him as much as he knows I do
Update:by the way al he does know i like him after he found out i told him how much and how long i'd liked him and that

ok i think that since he has never had a girlfriend then he might just be a little nervous. he might just want to get to know you a little better before he makes any move on you as in girlfriend relationship wise.
well, i think you should take it slow and like give him some clues that u like him and he might give some clues back. i think if u were to hang out wit him a bit longer say 1 week. it'll take some time but if u really like this guy then it'll be worth it.
