Hieroglyph dragons yugioh?
Now could someone read the effect of hieroglyph dragon dragon nut, and tell me if it's first effect works when tributed (special summoned) by say hieroglyph dragon shiyu dragon. So esessentially special summoning two normal dragons and shiyu. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Hieroglyph_Dragon_-_S...

Nope doesnt work
Reason - Shiyu Dragon's effect does not target the monster being tributed You tribute Dragon Nut as a summoning condition for Shiyu Dragon.
Shiyu Dragon's effect only works with cards that say things like "You can target..." "Select..." "Target.." etc. tributing a monster for a summon or a cost doesnt select a target(unless stated on the card "select 1 monster, then tribute it.." etc.) Shiyu has to be selected as a target for an effect.
