Honeymoon in Los Angeles?
Well, my husband and I are going on a honeymoon trip to LosAngeles and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on romantic things to do while there? We are there for about a week...never been to L.A....we are going to be staying @ the Hilton Los Angeles Airport....we would really appreciate it if anyone had ideas of exciting activities to do while there....

Ferris Wheel on Santa Monica Pier
Visit the Getty Museum
I like the Hollywood Bowl idea and the Queen Mary idea that folks mentioned above. You could also check out what's going on at the Los Angeles Music Center.
Things to eat:
These are the places where I'd eat a very special meal -
Hatfields has an amazing chef's dinner and it's relatively reasonably priced. Intimate setting, great food and service - my favorite restaurant here.
AOC is a very romantic wine bar with small plates
Providence is a critically acclaimed restaurant. I've never tried it, but I heard amazing things about their 5-course dessert menu.
There are lots of things to do, but in terms of being romantic, here are my picks...

This is a horseback ride that takes you through Griffith Park, you tie up your horses at a cute little Mexican restaurant and then ride them back through the park at sunset. It's a spectacular view from the top.
Hike Runyon Canyon or Temescal Canyon.
Take a dinner cruise in the Marina on a Hornblower Yacht.
Have dinner at Petros in Manhattan Beach and then walk along the pier which is about a block away.
Have a bonfire at Dockweiler Beach in Playa del Rey. Take blankets, some music, marshmallows, etc. Just get there before sunset to reserve a fire pit (it's free but they do fill up).
I used to be a bus driver in Los Angeles You should go to Santa Monica and check out the beach and the 3rd street promenade also there is this really good mexican restaurant called Don Antonio's

Stay one night on the Queen Mary in Long Beach. It's a huge ocean liner similar to the Titanic with a hotel and restaurants on board. Observation deck bar with a city view.
ok, number 1....rent a car...you will NOT wanna be near the airport...

3. beach (ofcoruse! :-) )
4. sunset dining on the ocean (Malibu---Paradise Cove is nice)
5. trip to Catalina
Go to the beach for sure and then go to Aquarium in Long beach, then go to hollywood and highland and shop around! lots to do there! its a tourist attraction! Go to universal studios!
