Okay, so my GPA is around 3.5 .Do you think i'd be likely to get into AP with that kind of GPA and when taking AP courses do you have to take it for all subjects cause i'm not to good in math so I was just wondering if I could take it for like maybe 3 or 2 classes. I'm not quite sure how it works. BUT any benefits? and what are the requirements? and do you have to apply? and does getting into AP classes help get scholarships. Its all just intense and confusing and my mind is going crazy trying to see if i can make a better future for myself because things aren't getting better.
Help? thanks in advance.

You can take any amount you want. There aren't really requirements but some schools your current or last teacher has to sign off saying they approve for you to take it. But you can also just tell your counselor you're willing to put in the effort and want the chance. If you do well it will boost your GPA and it better prepared you for ACT/SAT which in turn can get you scholarships. And you can graduate with honors or something if you pass a certain number of exams. With a 3.5 you may do well. It depends on you. Some kids have a 4.0 but can't pass AP. others with a 3.0 can go into AP and if they try hard, do extremely well. Also, AP will give you a higher gpa, up to a 5.0 instead if a 4.0 depending on how many you take. It will help on college apps if you do well.
