Go to local auto parts store and buy either a Haynes or Chilton's manual on your car. It will have step by step directions, a list of tools required and photographs for you to view.
Best 20 bucks you will ever spend.
It will also show you the complete tear-down and rebuild of everything else on the car.
After viewing the procedures you may decide not to "self help" as this is a very detail oriented procedure and is a little high on the complicated scale.

On something like this its best that you take it to a mechanic since you don't know how and its easy to mess things up worse.
If you're replacing a headgasket, you don't touch the camshaft......
Before you make a complete idiot of yourself, just stop, and take it to a mechanic.
OHC ? if you need to take it to the shop.
