how do i unlock a computer?
bought a computer for son and he cannot remember his password to start the computer up, does anyone know how to overide computers password, so he can set one up that he can remember.

Restart and keep pressing F8 Or F5.. Select Safe mode.
Click Administrator.. Goto.. Start menu, Computer, User's..
Remove & Create a New Password.
If the Admin option is not there.. It wont be so easy.

When your computer starts keep pressing F8 then a screen will come with many options, one of them will be Safe Mode press enter. Wait for few minutes then the log on screen will come u'l see two accounts Administrator and the other will be your sons account. enter in administrator account and go to control panel> Users> Your sons account> Click on remove password> now you can remove password without any problem.......
Boot in safe mode and enter the Administrator password?
