how long until cable receives my payment?
i've always paid my cable/telephone/internet bill through the mail, but lately they have not posted it to my account until its time for the next months bill.then they send me a double bill. i'd like to know if paying my cable bill at the check cashing place will make it posted to my account right away.i thought about doing it through my checking account, but dont think i want my checking account # all over cablevisions website. so, paying cash, how long will it take to post to my account if paid at the check cashing place? thanks so much.

You should never pay a bill anywhere except at the institution where you have your account (in person or online), or at your own bank. Paying bills anywhere else can and do result in all sorts of problems.
Don't do that
What you should do it you want the payment posted in the next 24 to 36 hours is call and make the payment over the phone with their automated system. Why you would want to involve a 3rd party is beyond me...but then again, you did say a check cashing place..does that mean you do not have a bank account? If you don't have a bank account or debit card, you won't be able to pay over the phone. If you do, just call and make the payment that way.
