You would be very unwise to purchase your cigarettes at the airport, as they are considerably cheaper in the official tobacco stores, of which there are many. They are Govt. supervised so should all be charging the same.

B&H Gold & Marlboro are 36.00€ and Mayfair 31.00€ for cartons of 200.

You cant buy cigarettes from arrivals in Alicante airport, there used to be a shop outside the terminal but I haven't seen that open for time time now.You can buy them in departures but not at duty free prices.You will notice there are 2 prices on each item ( 1 for eu and 1 for non eu passengers) and you have to produce your boarding pass to prove what country you come from.There is no duty free for eu passengers but they are still cheaper that home.

Like everyone else has said you have to buy them from the official tobacconist they prices do vary slightly but I have been told that L&M are the cheapest.I am going to the airport on monday and I will to see if the shop is open, have a good holiday

Depending on the brand € 3,00 and up a pack. A tax rise on tobacco is due!. Better look for a tobacco store (estanco). They are cheaper there than in the airport.
