With the help of a software called Belarc Advisor I found out that my main circuit board details are Board: MSI MS-7366 1.0
Bus Clock: 200 megahertz
BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. V1.1 12/05/2007
A friend told me that there were motherboards that supported only upto 2 GB of memory (RAM). I already have a 1 GB RAM installed and I was wondering how much memory does my other slot support? Is it just one GB or can I add 2 more GB to make it a 3 GB total?

man I was so going to fail you and go use google. Anyways, no clue. Though what I do know is that faster ram will (in "most" cases) down clock to the max speed for the mobo. If it don't work, get slower ram till it does. Remember to calculate the actual ram speed. I've always been confused on the formula. That should help ;) EDIT. Wait, what are you asking? You posted everything.. PC2 6400 is max speed. you know it's a lga 775 (you call that old? Mine uses lga 775, still better then bestbuy machines). You will only run into trouble with quad cores, even then I don't think you will. When in doubt, email your manufac or give them a ring.
