How much $ to repair broken laptop audio port?
The audio port for my Dell Inspiron E1405 has broken on the inside and is very loose and I am no longer able to use a headphone's. Also when I move it around the sound will no longer operate. But I have positioned it to the point where it works fine but I would like to fix it.
Does anybody have an idea on how much $ it would cost to repair this?

If you know how to install things on your motherboard get a new sound card. This will be your cheapest option.

Probably more than it's worth. I think you'll need a new motherboard which will be expensive. You could buy an external sound card via USB. (I think they exist)
