how to set up a local area network or LAN?
i am having problem with our comp. shop because the one who sets up this is my cousin w/c is not around and i am having trouble with the printing job because it cannot share documents from the pc's to the server

You just need to make sure that you server and you pc are on same network segment. And you also need to clarify if you have a network printer or its attached to the server and you are running a print server?
