Is my comp screen dead?
My comp screen just started acting funny,flickering and going black.I got hold of the plug and when its pushed into the small space where it lights up the screen it works...so I'm not sure if its just loose too much or if somethings broken. My brother told me its not serious,and I'm able to answer now and its been holding up for the past few minutes..I'm just nervous and waiting for another blank

Ouch. It sounds broken to me too. If it was simply loose, then pressing it in would have taken care of the problem permanently.
The power plug attaches to a connector that attaches to a circuit board inside the screen, and many times that connecter breaks loose from the circuit board.
Before you write-off your screen though, make sure the signal cord between your computer and the screen is not the probelm. Make sure it is seated securely into your computer and/or graphics card.
