I'm a plus size woman, and I'd like to lose one dress size. How long is a reasonable amount of time to set for my goal? I don't want to go insane, but I would like to be a little more disciplined. There's a little bit of stress coming up in my life over the next few months, so I don't want to deal with starvation headaches and that sort of thing. Is a month long enough? Or should I set it at two weeks?
Also, if anyone has done this, will you please share your favorite tips? What do you think about diet vs. exercise (I plan to diet a little and exercise a little more)? Thanks, y'all!

thats all you gotta do. watch what you eat, be more active and drink plenty of water. If you follow those steps to the tee, you'll reach your goal in 2 weeks time. But keep in mind that every womans body is different and that time can vary from one person to another.
The best way to lose weight is proper diet (healthy foods and not some crazy low carb, high protein, no calories, do this eat that sort of thing) and exercise. There is some good information on this site you can learn more from.
Probably the easiets way to lose some weight is to use those weight loss patches. The patch helps you to lose weight by increasing your metabolism to burn more calories and decreasing your hunger resulting in natural weight loss. It helps to lessen hunger pangs and other symptoms generally associated with weight reduction, and serves to jump-start your metabolism, dramatically increasing your body's ability to burn fat. More importantly, it is a safe and effective way to control your appetite and lose weight. You can see results within a month!
Application is simple and convenient. Just place a patch on the wrist, arm, or some other smooth part of the body, just like a band-aid. The special formula is absorbed immediately into the skin (transdermal delivery) and goes right into the bloodstream where it goes to work at once, and keeps on working! You will eat less, feel less hungry, and quickly lose unwanted pounds and inches. You should give it a try!

Try the Special K diet, it should take two weeks or so with that and some excercise. Just take a half hour a day and do something easy like take a walk. Good Luck!!
Well a healthy weight loss is between 2-3 pounds a week. It depends how many pounds you want to loose. And I think that you should follow a weight loss program that includes both healthy diet and exercise. For more healthy diet tips go here http://dietandfitnessjourney.blogspot.com/
Good luck on your weight loss.
Look for my question labeled "Want to lose weight?". After I get enough answers, I'll be able to help everyone that wants to lose weight! This isn't some gimmick; I'm a real person with a real idea.
If you get an answer to this that works, please let us all know. My best friend says you have to move more and eat less. It works for her I'll let you know in a couple of weeks if I can move after my workouts.
Stop eating so much and get up off your butt and excercise!
