japanese question: honto ni?
if honto means really, what does ni mean?
What's the difference between the two if I use honto without the ni in a sentence and when I use honto ni for example: honto ni momo ga suki desu. My apologies for writing in Romaji, I can't be bothered to write in hiragana since I don't have the writing system installed on my laptop yet. Thank you very much, no negative comments please.

"honto" means "truth", "fact", "real"
"honto ni" means "truly", "actually", "really"
"ni" doesn't have meaning in or of itself, but in this case it changes a noun into an adverbial interjection/intensifier
Honto Ni
Ni is a particle, the meaning is kinda hard to explain and I am still learning myself anyway. You can refer here for the meaning:

but honto actually means truth/reality while honto ni means really/truly.
It's like when you say, I like もも so much. (本当に)
