I find pheromone theory RIVETING, and would like a job dealing with it: of course I could be an endocrinologist, but I seem to think they deal more with patients who have hormonal imbalances.
I also find evolutionary biology fascinating -- are there any jobs that combine the two? I'd like to make money in my career, but would be concerned chiefly with how much I love my job; with that said, do researchers make a lot of money?
ANY help or advice you could offer would help greatly, thanks!

Trust me research is NOT something you do for money. Neither is medicine. Endocrinology doesn't deal with pheromones as the existence in humans is unknown at this point.
You have to be more specific with what you want. If you want to do research about animals, evolution, and the possibility of pheromones than you can study many fields of biology. You can study ecology, evolutionary biology, etc. Medicine is something completely different (im a med student).
Regardless if you pursue biology as a major in college than you will take ecology and evolutionary biology. Then you can help narrow down what you want. But at this point your best bet is to get a degree in biology and pursue a phd in the field you enjoy most.
