SEVEN: 'You shall not commit adultery.'

EIGHT: 'You shall not steal.'

NINE: 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'

TEN: 'You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.'

Numbers 6 and 8 are each recognized laws.

Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, and 10 are not recognized laws, and at most, are simply considered rude in certain circles. Number 7 is, essentially, an unenforceable law.

I fail to see how this makes us a land based on Christian doctrine. The fact is that we are simply not.

If you admit that the majority is Christian, and America is a democracy in a republic (IOW a representitive government) Then the representitives represent the majority which as you stated are Christians.

If the US is a Christian nation simply by majority, then it must also be a single, white, middle-aged, female, working-class nation by majority. That doesn't mean we should instate laws that would only benefit this majority.
