Just remember the rule of thumb when it comes to funerals and fashions...all the eyes will be on the dearly departed, as long as the deceased looks good, it really doesn't matter what you look like. It's not a fashion show.

if you wear black pants than black socks. If you wear dark brown (which is also acceptable, if you are not very close to the deceased or family), than dark brown socks.
