As many of you already know, the unedited version of Left for Dead 2 has been blatantly refused to be distributed in Australia while entailing many of the games unedited mechanics, including dismemberment and so forth which has been condemned unfit for any and every person in the nation to play.
However, this leaves many Australians in an upset, and due to it many are resorting to the importing of the unedited version of Left for Dead 2, if not only to experience the game in its original gory glory.
The question being
-how does one know the right region to buy the game in, in order for it to work co-operatively with the persons xbox?
-what site is the best means to obtain the game?
-originally, what kind of regions would allow for region compatible gaming with an Australian Xbox 360?
-is there anything else to consider when importing a game such as Left for Dead 2?

Order it from one of those countries, just to be on the safe side... Not everything on 360 is region locked, but the games are programmed in a way that they only work in certain regions, hard to explain...
Pretty much any site that ships to Australia will be fine, and yes there is something to consider.. You may not be able to play it online... Since the game is banned there, it's extremely unlikely Valve or Microsoft is going to provide servers to that region for it (atleast the unedited version, I'm not aware of whether they even made an edited version) And I have seen plenty of people in the past unable to play a game online because they've ordered the game from another region when theirs does not support the servers for playing online.. Another possibility is that you could have a high ping, of which you can do nothing about because the farther you are away from a server, the higher the ping you will have, and the higher the ping the more lag you will have, possibly once again leaving the game unplayable.
I would wait to order the game until others from your country report whether they can play online or not.
Note: Also because it is considered contraband, if customs finds the game, they will confiscate it, and you will be out the money, as that's not the websites fault or problem.. So you're taking a risk of just losing money on it... You won't be arrested or fined or anything, but they will definately confiscate the item.. US Customs open the package, remove the contraband put a little red note in it saying that it's been confiscated and why, and then send the package on it's way to you... I'm sure your customs will do something similar.
What?! Work with the persons xbox? Are you totally round the bend?! Who work with the persons xbox anymore??
