To begin with, please pc users don't tell me I should not get a Mac. I've been studying computers the last year and know what I wanna do and do know much much more then the average user so don't go off saying I'm a spoiled 16 year old brat with a pink Mustang who wants to ask what color case she should get for when her rich daddy gets her a new shiny computer. I do infact like pc's more but due to different factors I've decided to get a new Macbook Pro 2012 13" next month. Also please answer only if you have a mid 2012 13" MBP
Now that that's over with... For my question lol. For all you who have mid 2012 13inchers I got a few questions. First off and most importantly how hot does your MBP get? Like just browsing the web is it too hot to use on your lap? And how does it get when pushing the cpu (Like iMovie or Final Cut Pro or Ableton Live)? If you have temps that would be great! Now for my second question. Does Minecraft run smoothly (Stupid question right). Well I want to know because I always disliked integrated graphics but as far as I know the 4000 actually run well (But not like BF3 on ultra with 80 fps lol). And I play MC alot, so to be able to run it some what steady would be awesome. And thirdly and lastly, do the Ivy Birdge cpus make the fans sound like a plane is taking off? Really how loud does it get under normal stress and under heavy stress?
Thanks for your help, and yes I will pick a top answer lol.

I can speak on the Ableton Live part. Dude you will be running so smooth with this machine + Ableton. All new 2012 macbooks come stock with 8GB of RAM. You are more than straight to run multiple VSTs and plugins within Live. You maybe pushing 20% of your CPU with 50 tracks going on in a project within Ableton.
My suggest too if you want an optical drive and a disc hard drive up to 1TB buy the macbook very soon. Like before late Oct/Nov. Rumor has it they are going to upgrade the 13" to the new 15" Retina Display model. That includes only up to like 500GB Flash memory and there will be no optical drive + the Retina Disply of course. This all depends on yourself and is all preference but just letting you know, this is effecting some customers idea of the perfect macbook for themselves.
