Both sold out their sound, but Metallica released plenty more solid albums, as well as realising their mistake and returning to the thrash roots.
Obviously Metallica they had 7 Good Albums and 2 Sh1tty Albums and Linkin Park had 0 Good Albums and 4 Sh1tty Albums Metallica has talent unlike Linkin Park.

Metallica, at least they were good back in the 80's. Linkin Park on the other hand...well you can't even spell their name, what does that say?
They are both good but I have to say I'm more of a fan of Metallica, awesome guitar riffs and awesome singing by Hetfield.
Metallica had four good albums, Linkin Park had none. So, Metallica.

Linkin Park is horrible and Metallica is amazing.
Elders are better, generally speaking.
Lincoln Park is Elder to what is played by my band, because we are influenced by their music. Lincoln Park is better than what I play, because they are more older in age, but I'm worried because their punk is like how Parents talk to "us" kids.
Linkin Park is better than Metallica in my opinion..don't really like either tho :p
