My computer keeps telling me I need administrator access to download things but I am not only admin but also the only user on this computer. It is also conviently not opening files like my songs, also claiming I need administrator access. I've already checked and made sure all my accesses are in order. Hi, Go to the Control Panel -> User Accounts -> User Accounts -> Change Account type. Select the your user name as admin. Click on the Change User Account Control Settings. Pull down the status indicator to Never Notify. Click on OK button come out. Your problem might be solved with this.
