"Plus the fact that practically all of the World Cup winners play in La Liga makes it very strong"
He then went on to say:
"What I would say is that there's no way I can convince people in England that La Liga is stronger because you are brought up in a different way of playing football. It's a different culture and even though teams like Chelsea, Arsenal and even Swansea are trying to change that by playing a different brand of football with more possession, I think fans remain very impatient when the football is not direct. In Spain, we find it annoying when a player cannot pass the ball or if they are not accurate with their first touch and in the same way, English fans find slow build-up play frustrating"
I'm a Bundesliga fan, and i think EPL is much more exciting then La Liga.

La Liga is like watching Championship level football. No one closes down, defending poor very loose, teams resort to deep crossing when its not going right, players frequently score from 20 yards out as they s.h.I.t tons of time and space. This with the expectation of Real and Barc and the main reason they crush everyone, but more or less every other team plays this way.
It is mildly entertaining to watch but not what modern 21st century football should be about, I watch it from time to time but I might was well be watching Ipswich v Palace.
People who stat that it is a superior league are these plastic fans, who have been supporting their team for 2 seasons and have no understanding of the game or its history and assume that because the C.Ronlado and Messi play in that league and Spain are European and World Champions it means La Liga is a better league, when if you look back over the last 10 years at the Champions League Semi finals and on you’ll find teams from the Prem have been better represented compared to La liga.
EPL is the better league because there are more than two teams that have a realistic chance at winning the league each year. In La Liga Barca and Madrid are going to be one and two, and last year in La Liga the final standings had barca only 4 points ahead of madrid and madrid was 21 points ahead of villarreal. EPL is always good because anyone can come up with a big game i.e. Blackburn over Arsenal last weekend.
Well, La Liga was competitive once ( some 7-8 years back ) when teams like Valencia, Deportivo and Athletico Madrid gave RM and Barca a run for their money .. Those days are long gone ..
So, EPL is still much better than the La Liga ..
La Liga is just not fun to watch.
everything about the epl, from the crowds, stadiums, and commentators make the whole game more entertaining. The football is also 2nd to none, if you like action, and insane games.
Right off the top of my head i can recall some amazing games:
Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal
Blackburn 4-3 Arsenal
Sunderland 3-0 Chelsea
Utd 8-2 Arsenal
Well Real Betis had Joaquin he went to Valencia. They lost Mata, Silva, Villa etc. who all went to bigger teams Villa for example went to Barca. Real tried to sign him & Silva, so Real & Barca are too powerful in everyway in La Liga whereas the EPL isn't as much like that (Arsenal players who left was due to Arsenal lacking) Ermmmm.. EPL is way more exciting, the atmosphere is better (personal preference) & Although over the passed few years its been Chelsea, Man U etc. Every team in the league always fights to the 90th minute & you always get a half decent game. EPL Best in ze world!
