ok well i JUST had my first period. Im wondering since my flow is really lite cud i wear UNDERWEAR with a pantyliner and then my bathing suit because well i have heard that ur flow is barely anything in water and all my friends with periods say this is true. and my friend has worn pads and she says its fine. I KNOW u shudnt wear a pad with a swim suit but what about underwear and then swim trunks over. because wudnt it stick to the underwear even tho it doesnt stick so well to the bathing suit? i wud change it right after? BTW i wud use a pantyliner

You should use a tampon.
The pads/pantyliners would just absorb water, thus rendering useless.
If its really light , use a light flow.
If you get a pad completely soaked in the water, it will probably swell up and feel really squishy and nasty between your legs. If your flow is really light, give tampons a try and just use the ones with the lightest absorbency, or wear your bathing suit. Sometimes my period is so light I don't really need a tampon while I am swimming.
First I will say that you can't wear a pad or liner in the pool. The point of pads and liners are to absorb the blood, but if you're in a pool all they will absorb is the water. Also the gravity is different when you're in water and just like any other kind of liquid, it will spread in the pool (even if it's not noticeable) and not be absorbed.
And, honestly, would you want to be in the pool with someone who just peed or had their period? Wear a tampon or don't go swimming.
Well you can get tampons for very light flow but yeah I always find my period stops when I go swimming so I very rarely where anything when I go swimming unless it's my first day and quite heavy
Well you do know that the blood would get in the water and some of the water would turn red not to much of a good idea to going swimming with your period!
don't listen to 'you are gonna bleed in pool'
i wore a pantyliner when i was about to have my period, and i came out and went home and found out i did.
Pantyliners don't really take in water.
so go with a pantyliner, unless its gonna get heavy.
just use a tampon but in the water your period just stops while your swimming..im not sure how to explain lol but just use a tampon and you'll be fine =]
ANSWER MINE TO PLEASEE =[
NOO dont do it. you'll bleed all over the place and embarrass yourself. im just lookin out for ya. go with a tampon
It's not a good idea-- the water will just turn it into a soggy mess.
Pantyliner!Because pad is too thick.Better if tampon.
