What is the difference and what happens in each one if you take out one light? Thanks
In a parallel circuit , the same voltage is across each element.
In a series circuit the same current flows through each element
If you remove a lamp from a series connected light string, all the lights will go out.
in a parallel circuit removing a lamp will have no effect on the other lights
In a parallel circuit, the current has more than one path it can take, while in a series circuit, there is only one way the current can travel.
