See I think the boyfriend was too stubborn and an asshole at the same time. He could have prevented some of the haunting if he had not challenged the demon. So instead of helping the situation, he only made it worse. If I were him I would have accepted the fact that this situation was beyond my expertise, and would have accepted the help of others. I agree that I wouldn't bail out on someone but I wish he would have gotten outside help.

I would have stayed with her if I really loved her. But then again, I don't believe a girl, possessed though she was, could have taken me out. I would've gone knocked her out lol. Also, I don't think its fair that people are blaming Micah for the demon's escalation in activity. That other girl that the demon supposedly messed with, the one who's name was spelled on the Ouija board ended up crazy and possessed anyway so the outcome would've been the same either way.

SPOILER: I think he loved the girl for one thing, but he got doing things to cause the demon to come out. He didn't really believe in the demon and this was his self-destructive streak. He had to see for himself just what he was dealing with: like the moth to the flame. I believe HIS fate was sealed when he tried to wake her and said we're getting out of here, and she says no it will be OK now and then smiles and goes back to sleep. That would have been the time for him to make a run for it but who knows since he was instrumental in bringing the demon into the house at full strength maybe it no longer mattered what he did to try and escape either. This was one scary movie.

I would have loved to be in a situation like that.

That movie was just too amazing.
