President Barack Obama?
I am wondering if anyone else feels the same way i do.
I am happy that Barack Obama was elected and i really want to be inspired and excited but a part of me doesnt because after all, even Obama is a politician.
And i have no reason to believe that Obama is any less of a corrupt liar than his 99 colleagues in the Senate.
Good guys like the one Obama seems like don't make it far enough to become president, in my opinion.

You may be right. I hope not, but I have the same fear you do.
On the other hand, the guy is a relative newbie in politics - skilled and smart, but hasn't been in the Senate very long. It also looks like the Illinois Machine went out of their way to keep him clean even when they were helping him. So it just might be that he is really as honest as he seems - or something close to it. We'll just have to give him time to show us one way or the other.
Well, no matter how good the President seems, he really has no power to get things done (or to bring about the ''change'' he keeps speaking of). Everyone should remember from school that there is a system of checks and balances. Congress and the House has more power politically than the President does. However, seeing as how the Congress and House are dominantly Democratic, that ''change'' could come about for once. Of course, now people are saying that Obama is leaning more towards the conservative side... So...
I see what you're getting at here. I do feel the same way. Although, I feel the same way about almost every politician out there. I mean, you can't be 100% sure about a guy who's going to run your country. Everyone has their doubts. I felt the same about John Mccain. I do, however, feel that Obama is the better choice.

I agree; I'm from the school when something or someone is too good to be true, most of the time it's not.
The campaign proved he is simply a man, no more no less, if only his followers would notice.
before you make claim on how corrupt the president is... you better have some evidence...because the way I see you commented is very prejudice against him...
