Apparently the other people didn't understand your question. Anyway, you are correct. They just randomly took her from being a wedding planner to managing a wrestler. I don't believe they had a storyline or anything explaining why she became a manager although most people don't really care. And then its only natural for a manager to eventually become a wrestler, this isn't the first time that has happened. But yea, it was pretty stupid.

Being a wedding Planner was a role she played in the Edge and vickie Guerrero Storyline. Once that storyline ended the WWE Booking Team either had to create her as a new character or just simply release her. Obviously, the WWE Booking Team saw something in her that they liked or they would have let her go. I liked her when she was the Valet to DJ Gabriel, but it appears that the WWE does not have a lot of interest in him now. I rarely see him. If the Booking team had kept Alicia wtth DJ gabriel, they might have wound up releasing her. Maybe she's better off standing by herself.

She's always been a wrestler in training and wrestled in development camps. I think she was brought in as Edge's wedding planner for just cracking her into the main shows and into a quite big storyline at the time, and it at least got her noticed. But as soon as that little bit was over she went off to train more and do things on ECW. Managing DJ Gabriel was also a thing to break her in but wasn't overly getting shown on ECW, especially towards the end. Her now being a wrestler is her finally reaching her goal mark.

Alicia Fox has always wrestled; she didn't start off by being a wedding planner. She trained back on OVW and she also sometimes wrestles in FCW. Alicia was in OVW back in the fall of 2006; which was when she signed up. She's actually not eye candy like most of the divas.

alicia fox was always a wrestler she competed in ovw and was a former ovw womans champion and now not only is she competing in the wwe but also fcw. she is a extremely hard worker and one of the few divas in the wwe that knows how to wrestle.
