A: So that you can thank those who have made your cruise vacation better than you could have imagined, we've developed these gratuity guidelines:
Suite attendant: $5.75 USD a day per guest
Stateroom attendant: $3.50 USD a day per guest
Dining Room Waiter: $3.50 USD a day per guest
Assistant Waiter: $2.00 USD a day per guest
Headwaiter: $.75 USD a day per guest
Note: These gratuities apply to guests of all ages.
Gratuities for other service personnel are at your discretion. A 15% gratuity will automatically be added to your bar bill or wine check when you are served.
Notice to Guests: Gratuities may be shared with other crew members depending on the particular service requirement.
Envelopes for gratuities will be provided in your stateroom on the last night of the cruise. Gratuities may be paid in the following ways:
Pre paid by having them added to your reservation by your booking agent.
Your total will be about $10 per day per person, not counting what is added to soft drink and alcoholic beverages. This is from RC's web site:

Most of the time ppl tip their dining room staff and the room attendant. If I'm not mistaken RC has a guidline page on their website as to what to give each person. In my opinion you tip according to service, not whats expected.
At the end of the cruise they will leave you lil envelopes to give to each person. You may also want to ask(and thats if you want to give what they suggest)to have them put it on your final bill once the cruise is over.

the cruise line takes care of the gratuities, but be sure to pay at least 3-6$ per day per person. but give or take a few dollars for service.
hope this helps

There will be a guide in your room for tipping the wait staff.
typically I drop around $80 US total for a week on the waiters, room attendant etc.
I then tip the bar staff the same as I would at any other bar. You charge it all to your room key, so you never need cash.

10$ a day
~$10/day and it will be deducted from your ship account automatically. For drinks or something else at least 15%.
