Here is a little background information. I broke my foot 2 months ago and I am wearing tennis shoes now. The doctor says that I can wear regular shoes, but I have to wear shoes that are supportive. Ballet flats are a no- he says. The thing is I am going to an event where I have to wear a dress. I don't want to be really tacky and wear tennis shoes with a dress. Any ideas on where I can find some supportive sandles or flats? I have a fairly small foot as well 6.5. Thank you for your help.

gO TO A real shoe store , THE old-fashioned kind WHERE THEY know feet !!! yOU WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO USE THE YELLOW PAGES!!! oR TRY ON-LINE, ONLY IF YOU CANT FIND ONE IN "REAL LIFE".
They will fit you and know what kind of shoes will support your feet !!!
I also heard of a new dress shoe company that merged with a tennis shoe company to make comfortable heels (TRY THE SEARCH ENGINES), i dont know how supportive these would be, but for 1 night it should be ok !!! Best of Luck !!!! AUNT BARBIE
I *know* crocs are so ugly, but they make a mary jane croc that is very simple black slip on. Extremely comfortable and I wore these to Walt Disney World with a broken toe and felt fine. Everyone kept complimenting my shoes, so they couldn't have been that bad. lol
