I'm i need of a SOLID WR. I'm in a 12 team league. Someone is offering me Steve Smith (NYG) in exchange for Pierre Thomas. I'm seriously considering this trade. I am tied for first place. My team is as follows:
Aaron Rodgers
DeSean Jackson
Donald Driver
Johnny Knox
Anthony Gonzalez
James Jones
DeAngelo Williams
Ronnie Brown
Pierre Thomas
Mike Bell
Chester Taylor
Jason Witten
Jarmichael Finley
Philly Defense
Lawrence Tynes
Update:I can only start 2 RBs

Definitely accept that trade. You have a ton of RBs that you know will play consistent through the remainder of the season. Although Pierre Thomas is playing well, he shares the load with Bush and Bell. Bush gets some of the endzone TDs (I'm not sure how gets the most), but you could really use another WR.
DeSean Jackson is a bit inconsistent but great at times.
Driver is okay and James Jones gets the ball when Driver and Jennings don't. That's okay.
Your other WRs say you need an improvement, and Steve Smith is Eli's main target. A drastic improvement. You'll stay #1 here. You may even win the league since your improving (unless someone else improves like you are).
Don't forget this. The NYG will be fighting for a good playoff seat the remainder of the season, so Eli will throw, throw, throw if the ground game isn't effective (Jacobs hasn't been the big punch like last year). With that, Smith will get the majority of the passing attempts.
Definitely accept this.
Good luck.
DeAngelo Williams and Ronnie Brown are probably the best 2 starters (since Bell shares with Bush & Thomas, while the Wildcat offense plays both Brown & R. Williams). DeAngelo is the entire Panthers' offense, they ride him all day. So you do the same.
If you can only start two RB then do it...If you have a flex, you might be better off keeping Pierre
Just looked up Thomas' schedule....CAR STL then TB. Stick with him.
Are you kidding me, how can you not take this trade. Your backs are studs give up Thomas and get Smith NOW!
