I have the HK and the Glock but in 45,Glock is compensated which is nice.

both are very well made and accurate but I prefer the HK for its manual safety and decocker.. suits my needs better.

spend a little more and go HK.

The USP is the better all-around gun, but it's not like you're taking a big step down in quality if you get the Glock. Cheap range ammo usually means "cheap range reloads". Quality factory ammo, even the cheaper foreign stuff, goes through a Glock (and HK) with no problems. I have the full size USP9 and a Gen 3 G19 and I love them both. The compact USP is pretty thick, so if your main purpose is concealment, get the Glock.

I'm left handed. I love the HK p2000/usp series because there is a paddle magazine release. Honestly I love how the Gen 4 can be upgraded and customized but I really just prefer the HK style:p I bet you could find a used HK p2000 for the same cost as a Gen 4. I suggest not comparing the usp compact because its not as carry friendly. The usp just seems abit old to me while the glock is a lot newer.

I have shot both, including the Gen 3. The only difference in the 3rd and 4th gen glock is really the grip texture, and that the 4th is ambidextrous, so if you are a lefty, that's the only reason i would think you would want it over the 3rd gen. Personally I am not a fan of HK products, they don't stand up to the abuse of a Glock.

I would have to vote for the USP between the 2. But would rather consider a FNP or FNX, or even a Sig 229, or CZ P01, 75C.

If you are considering the USP- man, I would look at FN's guns real hard.

HK all the way. Much better built than a Glock.

idk about the gen4 G19 but my gen 3 is awesome. much better that the compact USP's.
