I started using myfitnesspal about a week ago. Everyday I log in everything I eat--cut out my weakness (which is mt dew) & use my exercise bike for 30 minutes. Myfitnesspal says that I could be down by 20lbs in 5 weeks...but my scale says ive already lost 8lbs in one...could it be that my big butt broke the scale? lol..or can a person really lose that much so quickly, safely? ... Im looking for tips and exercises I could do to also strengthen my upper body as well...Push Ups are a give in, but they give me a hard time.

Don't look at the scale. I mean still use a scale but look at yourself in the mirror. And people can lose weight that quickly, remember that 8lbs aren't all fat. Some is water weight and muscle.
you dont have to make a three digit number your weight loss goal aim for a certain dress size or waist measurement
