Out of couriousity, as a teenage mother ( or even any mother)when did you lose your mucus plug and when did you go into labor? are Teen moms more likely to have their babies early rather than after their due date?

A lot of women lose their mucus plugs during the last few weeks of pregnancy, but most wont get a real 'show' until labor/birth.
I lost my mucus plug over a few weeks with both of mine and went into labor a week overdue. I lost my show during labor.
Also, that is untrue. Teen mums don't have more of a chance going into labor sooner.
..
With my first child I lost my mucus plug while in labor with her. I had her about 9-10 hours after I started losing it. (Took a while to dilate the last 6cm.)
With my son I never lost it on my own, least I never noticed it. I was induced with him at almost a week over due.
Age 'can' be a factor in a way. Mainly due to the fact of you(or any teen mom) not being fully grown. Premature labor or complications is 'more likely' in a girl or woman who is unhealthy or has preexisting medical conditions. Not to be alarmed. Doesn't mean it WILL happen just due to your age. Just means you are at an increased risk.
*Statistically speaking. First pregnancies or babies tend to arrive later than early.
i lost mine the same day i want in labor
