Both are first and middle name combinations, and I really do love both! I can't decide which one to add to my list, so I'm asking for you to pick the combination you most prefer. If you hate both/love both to the extent of you not been able to comprehend past 'both' or 'neither', I'd appreciate it if you didn't bother answering.
Thank you!

I'm going to pick Alasdair Leon, because I love the name Alasdair, especially with this spelling!
Although, I do think Leon Alastair flows slightly better, which is unusual because I often find that names flow better when the longest name comes first. Leon Alastair is very smooth. They both flow excellently though, so I don't think Alastair Leon flows badly at all.
Alasdair is my current favourite name for a boy. This Scottish spelling is my favourite, although I have Alastair on my list at the moment because I think it's more usable where I live. It's such a handsome, refined name with a regal, aristocratic feel. Leon is a great middle name because it's simpler but equally strong and masculine.
The main problem I have with Alasdair is finding a nickname I like - the obvious choices of Al and Ali seem a little feminine. I guess Dair could work, or in the case of Alastair, Tai (Ty). If you chose Leon Alasdair, nicknames would be much easier!
Overall though, I just find Alasdair so much more striking and interesting than Leon. Leon is a wonderful name, but it doesn't stand out as much as Alasdair, so I prefer it in the middle name slot. I don't think Alasdair is too bold or unusual to use as a first name - it may be uncommon, but it's not unheard of. :)
Leon Alasdair
I absolutely love the name "Leon" I think it's so beautiful and wonderful so I will definitely recommend this name as a first name. The name is elegant, sounds wonderful and flows nicely!
I would say Alasdair as the middle name for several reasons, first off the name is quite unusual, and might be recieved badly by kids, who can be mean. By that I'm not saying it's a bad name, just that you should consider how others might take it, and that children might pick on this unusual name. Using the name as a middle name makes this combo more unique, but also gives the person the option of using "Alasdair" or keeping it "hidden" by using only the first name.
Also I think Leon Alasdair flows better together than the other way around.
Leon Alasdair
I'm not overly found of the combination, but Leon Alasdair would probably be my choice. It may depend on the last name, because some names might sound alright until you put them with the last name.
Like both, but I like Alasdair more and Alasdair Leon flows better
Haha, love the wording. I'm going to go with... Leon Alasdair. I'm huge on Leon at the moment, it's such a handsome name! Don't get me wrong. Alasdair is too, it's just not a personal favourite.
I like Leon Alasdair better.
