Can anyone solve this system of equations in three variables ?
Please show all the steps, thanks (:
x + 4y - z = 1
3x - y + 8z = 0
x + 4y - z = 10
First and third
equations are
contradictory.
x + 4y - z = 1 , 3x - y + 8z = 0 , x + 4y - z = 10
x + 4y = 1+z , 3x - y + 8z = 0 , x + 4y= 10+z
first and third equation, doesnt make any sense, check the question again
The first and last equations have the same thing on the left, but different numbers on the right. If you set them equal, you get 1 = 10, which is impossible. There is no solution.
The first and third equations are incompatbile, There is no solution.
