I was on my computer and Saturday it started slowing down, and it froze. I was just on YouTube and Facebook. Maybe on Narutoget. It doesn't let me go into safe mode or regular, not even startup repair. The only thing I can get passed it the logo. I have a Windows 7 laptop, VAIO. It's about 3 years old. Also, I download PAINT.net and I also stepped on the keyboard area by accident. The geek squad guy said that harsh movement can move something in the laptop, when it was broken before. I had to get a new hard drive and stuff.

Don't believe the recommendation of Reginout. They are being written by people connected with this program. This type of program can cause more problems then they cure. The only reg cleaner, sometimes called optimizers, that I would recommend is the one in CCleaner because it is not too aggressive. No one has ever done an objective comparison of a system before and after using these programs.

I would try using CCleaner, Malwarebytes, Super Antispyware, Microsoft Defender as well as an uptodate antivirus program.
If this does not help, and because you can not get into Safe Mode, you may have to reinstall Windows.
