Can I upgrade my Computer's CPU?
My computer is a compaq presario CQ5814, is there any available cpu upgrades for it? like to increase the ghz (i'm a computer noob btw)

Not likely.
There are two manufacturer's of CPU's INTEL and AMD
Each company have several different types of CPU's with different sockets. They are not interchangeable.
The CQ5814 uses the AMD CPU Processor socket: FT1 BGA So you would have to find an AMD with the same socket type.

Don't think so. According to the hp/compaq website, your CPU is soldered to the motherboard. Unless you are a computer technician, upgrading that will be a pain in the ****.
