i know its like 1/6463 chance to encounter a shiny some say its lower for legendaries so not that many people even try so theres not that many people who have one without using action replay, but its accually the same for everything so i was wondering if its possible to encounter a shiny pokemon in a trainer battle by maybe saving before the fight and soft reseting over and over i get bored with that so i don't want to try so if you know for sure tell me don't just say no cause YOU never encountered one accualy research for me and find out thats what yahoo answers is for, so other people can do the work for me

No, shiny pokemon can only be found in the wild. (or getting the right stats in the old games)
If there was a trainer in the game that had one, bulbapedia would've mentioned it.
Trainer's pokemon are already pre-chosen and hard-wired into the system, they won't change no matter how often you reset the game. They're not random like the wild ones.
No you cannot find a trainer with shiny pokemon. IN soulsilver you can get a red gyarados. Its shiny :). The pokemon sites does not say anything about that you can find a trainer with shiny pokemon so, sorry but you cannot find a trainer with a shiny pokemon.
I easily have all astonishing pokemon because of the fact I bred them till I have been given shinnies. in case you walk over to a mythical and save, you may save entering into scuffling with it till that's astonishing (via that I recommend entering into and in spite of if that is not any longer reboot the gadget.)
In game there are a couple trainers that may have one in the battle frontier. But no trainer you gain exp from has one.
i remember seeing a shiny espeon or umbreon in emerald inside that green tower battle place near that desert place with the fossils. i think the battle settings were doubles.
