I recently acquired these games as gifts, and I have a Windows 7 computer. I successfully installed both games and definitely have the internal memory capacity for both. Portal 2 lagged when I started it up the first time, but it seemed pretty much alright. I exited out of the program, and the next time I tried to open either game, they refuse to play. The computer says that there is a Display Driver error.

The game working at first and then when exited, being unable to re-open is strange. I tried uninstalling one game to run the other, but both attempts did nothing. Only more crashes and telling me that the display driver has an error.

I have Steam, and enough memory. Does anyone know what to do? Please help!
