I've edited an FTP web page to show some addition photos, i've created the location for them on the web page and located them at /images/ownbooks/picture.jpg - all i need to do now is upload the pictures so they fill the images. However, when i try to upload them to the server, Smart FTP starts to upload them, then keeps denying. I can upload the odd file without any problems.
Can anyone help me, if necessary, i will post more details. I'm off to grab some lunch, i'll re-check this when i return! Thanks!!

From your description it appears as though the problem is on the server side. Perhaps the server is configured to limit the number of subdirectory levels and you are beyond its ability.
Another possibility is your last subdirectory name which appears to be "picture.jpg" and if that is the subdirectory name (not a jpg in the directory) that may be a problem. I am not certain from your writing whether "picture, jpg" is a subdirectory name or not so I may be in error here.
I have used other FTP clients to upload or download via FTP for numerous purposes. I do not have experience with SmartFTP but I suspect it is a solid product and I do not believe it would be the culprit.
If all else fails, try to contact the Tech Service people who run the server to see if there is a subdiretory level limit or other cause.
Best of luck!
