I also recommend NYX Lipsticks. I have multiple colors from the Round and Black Label ranges and they are probably the closest to MAC. A few good dupes for Myth are the Round Lipsticks in Circe, Orange Soda and Pumpkin Pie. It really depends on the pigmentation of your lips, but those three are what I would consider to be very close dupes to MAC Myth for me. The downside of drugstore brands is that you have to look for the shade you like. As far as quality of the lipstick, check out www.cosmeticscop.com or www.beautypedia.com. They're both by Paula Begoun, who's been investigating & researching cosmetics since the 1980's with her team. They sell their own stuff, but also tells you which others are good or bad and why.

I think nyx is the best brand that is comparable to mac. They have great color selection and I personally think the formulation is great, especially for the price. Alot of their lipsticks are actually dupes for mac lipsticks

They actually have one of the best dupes for 'myth', it's called 'circe'

I would also recommend NYX's Circe, some people say NYX lipsticks are better quality than MAC actually but I don't know as I don't have any MAC.
