Encrypt a usb flash drive?
hey can anyone suggest me a software that i can use to encrypt my usb flash drive. i know some software but they only encrypt a specific file. what i want is tht wen someone clicks on the flash drive icon it should ask for the password.

It's FREE and I've been using it for a long time.
If you are using Enterprise or Ultimate version of Vista or Win7, Win8, you can lock your hard drive with the built-in feature Bitlocker. With its help, you can protect your external hard drive without any software.
But if you are using other operating systems, you can only do this with software such as Winzip, 7 zip, TrueCrypt, Kakasoft Folder Protector. Zip programs are easy to use, but they take much time every time to zip and unzip the folders. In my opinion, the latter two are better and more secure.
