There are a lot of things you can do in the car to make the time go faster. I would load up my IPOD or make up some CD’s of my favorite songs. Music is a must for a long trip! You could also get some books on tape (they make me fall asleep however a lot of people love them) you can get them at the library and they can help you pass the time. If there is a lot of people in the car make up some car bingo sheets or print them out online and have the family participate in a game. You can also play games like 20 Questions, Count the Cows, and the Licenses Plate game. Those are easy and make the time go by. You could also do something like a scavenger hunt. Make up different list of things people in the car need to see/find and have them mark them off as you go. The person that gets them all or the most wins. You could also bring some trivia cards and ask each other questions off of them that can be fun. Bring a deck of cards or UNO cards those take up some time. I might also bring a portable DVD player, some hand held games, and some books to read. You could also bring some magazines, seek and finds, crossword puzzles and other games like that. They keep you busy. They do sell travel size games of things like Connect Four, Battleship, and Sorry you can get them at your local toy store or places like Wal-Mart. They are pretty cheap and small enough not to take up too much space. Of course you can bring a journal and write, call friends or text friends to keep you busy. Here are some websites that I use for ideas when planning road trips you might find them helpful:

There are a lot of things you can do in the car, sleep is also another great way to pass the time! Have a great trip!
I go on car trips also and I mostly sleep. There are screens that you can buy to put on your PS2 and other games if you are willing to go that far.
You could
1. bring a book( if that wont make you sick)
2. bring a movie
3. play games with other people in the car
that is all i can think of
:)
