I tried this on my fish and feel awful now. Nothing was wrong with it, i just didnt want to keep caring for it every day as it was a big chore. i put it in a small tank and added alcohol, and it seemed like it was suffering and i took it out. then i added baking soda and it made a weird noise cause i thnk some of the bs got in its mouth, i felt awful, took it out. Is this tortue? Now i put it back in its big tank and put in a whole box of baking soda. It seems to be fallign asleep, on its side, moving slowly. Is this peaceful , its not sleeping and its been like 15 mins???

Wow I hope this is a troll. What if this was your child and it became too much of a chore, would you just torture it to death? And don't tell me that's 2 different things because they are both living creatures who feel pain. It's abuse to an innocent creature who can't defend themselves. You could have just as easily brought the fish to a pet store to give up for "adoption", or given it to someone you know.
At this point stick it in the freezer. It's not the most humane way but what you are doing is horrifying.
EDIT: Next time find it a home or return it to the pet store when you get bored with it. For future reference the most humane way to euthanize a fish is clove oil. This is done with severely injured or ill fish that are not responding to treatment, not out of boredom.
EDIT: Never dispose of live fish by flushing, starving, or randomly pouring caustic chemicals into the aquarium. Use clove oil, or if you can't be bothered doing that at least freeze it. Freezing isn't the most humane way, but it beats a slow death of chemical burns.
y wuld u do that thats sooo mean i wish i culd do that to u now.
Ugh. That's sick. Why the hell didn't you just flush the poor thing if you didn't want it anymore, of give it away?????
