Historical Currency Rates?
does anyone know where I can find the following information:
a) France franc to British Pound years 1914,1923,1927,1932
b) Italy's Lira to British Pound years 1914,1923,1927,1932
I have spent all day searching books and on-line links journals, etc. UGH!!!!

You could reconstruct this information from the financial sections of newspapers from the period. It would take a lot of work, since the newspaper quotes would be dailies, but most libraries have back files of the NY Times and WSJ.
We also cannot find any. May I ask for what purpose you want to know these.
