I've never heard of honey working, but I have a naturally blonde friend who uses lemon juice and sits with it in her hair in the sun to lighten the darker parts of her hair. Hydrogen peroxide is definitely more effective though.

honey is not a bleaching agent and won't lighten your hair. Go to a beauty supply store and ask for

a hair lightener. That'll do it.
