I am a 20 year old college student. Last time I checked (august 08) I weighed 272Lbs I have been over weight for the majority of my life. I don't have a real desire to be "skinny" just healthy...I don't have time, means of transportation, or money to join a gym and it's really hard to eat right in college...I really want to change and live a heather life style but I don't know where to begin...I have consider surgery but other than the fact that it’s way too expensive and my health insurance won’t cover it, I know there has to be another way…my weight loss goal is 100 lbs.. Can anyone help me?????????

it is actually easier to loose weight if you are bigger so i think the first thing to do is to cut back on portion sizes and to keep a diary of how much you eat for a few weeks.
keep hydrated
if you feel hungry then drink a glass of water because most times your body is dehydrated rather than hungry
get a multi vitamin very cheap and it will stop you from cravings because cravings are your body telling you that you are lacking some sort of nutrient from your diet.

i havent tried this myself but ive heard that the acai weight loss thing works. I think you get a free trial. i lost a bunch of weight by going vegan, but thats pretty hard for most people. But i ate really healthy dinners, especially lots of veggies (green beans, mushrooms, broccoli, peppers, onions, with lots of seasoning). its also a good idea to write down everything you eat so that you can see it and learn how to change the way you eat. good luck!
