" SO THAT OTHERS MAY LIVE " is the (PJ's) motto Ryan, and the secret to passing any inhuman test in existence. Whatever it takes to recover your brothers and sisters in harms way, behind enemy lines, and any environment ... so that others may live.
All of your knowledge, certs, and ratings learned thus far will help you pass this medical program necessary to help you stabilize and evacuate injured service members while in a enemy evading recovery role.
The process of becoming a PJ is informally known as the "Pipe-line" or "Superman school". Successfully completing it takes about 2 years of intense physical and mental effort on your part.
Of the many who begin ... only the most extreme graduate! Start to finish wash-out rate stands at about 90 percent from each class, the highest training drop-out rate in the entire US Special Ops community! The road to becoming a PJ you must be male, proficient in swimming, and meet physical fitness standards (but to be accepted in any spec-ops community it takes a higher score to stay competitive)
Did you know that USAF Para-rescue Jumpers provide contingency operations for NASA recovery missions ?
